Clint’s Cattle Company is
located in Bedford County, Virginia.
Clint’s Cattle Company was founded in 2021, we are located in Bedford County, Virginia. Clint’s Cattle raises and sells Akaushi (Ah-ka-OO-shi) cattle to farm to table restaurants throughout the state and direct to consumers. Cows are pasture raised, hormone free and supplemented with spent grain from local brewers.
Our Cattle
It takes time and selective breeding to deliver a sought-after product to buyers. Two of the main areas of focus when building our herd is maternal ability and docility. We start with Black Angus or Gelbvieh cows that are then crossed with Akaushi bulls. We want to raise healthy calves that can perform with very little assistance and introduce proven bulls with Expected Progeny Differences (EPDs) that help us reach our goals.
