At Clint’s Cattle Company, leadership comes from experience. Owner Mike Moorman is a combat Army Veteran who served with the 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment “Cacti” during Operation Enduring Freedom. With an Economics and Business degree from the Virginia Military Institute and a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, Mike combines strategic thinking with hands-on leadership to raise premium Akaushi cattle.

Mike farms alongside his father, Roger Moorman, and is a proud member of the American Akaushi Association (AAA) and the Farmer Veteran Coalition (FVC). He partners with beef cattle geneticist Dr. Aaron Cooper to ensure the herd benefits from the best available Akaushi genetics and pedigrees. Mike also relies on his friend and fellow farmer, Dr. Nick Patterson of Acres of Grace Farms in Tennessee, for guidance on breeding and sourcing top-quality cattle.
